An all-inclusive luxury safari lodge on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, a stone's throw from Victoria Falls.
Set on the banks of one of Africa's mightiest rivers, Victoria Falls River Lodge is the first privately owned safari lodge to be built within Zambezi National Park and is ideally located for combining Victoria Falls with the thrills of a traditional safari. Accommodation is split between 13 luxury tented suites, six island treehouse suites and a private villa that sleeps up to six adults and two children. The tented suites are beautifully constructed from canvas, glass and timber and boast private decks and plunge pools with uninterrupted views of the Zambezi River and the hippos that wallow there.
The treehouse suites are set apart on a private island and are more exclusive still. All have private decks and pools but two feature open-air rooftop decks with a sitting area and a signature 'starbed' for sleeping out beneath the stars.
Communal facilities include a pool, spa, gym and kids' club, while activities range from game drives, river cruises and trips to Victoria Falls to helicopter trips, gorge swings, white-water rafting and both fishing and walking safaris.
The lodge sits on the banks of the Zambezi River within Zambezi National Park. It's 30 minutes from Victoria Falls International Airport and just 10 minutes from Victoria Falls town. It's also 50 minutes from Livingstone International Airport in Zambia, subject to customs clearance.
