A luxurious and beautifully designed camp that's fully solar powered and built from all-natural materials, set on the banks of the mighty Zambezi.
Set amid the magic of Mana Pools National Park, Nyamatusi Camp lies on the floodplains of the Zambezi offering striking views of one of the world's oldest rivers. Accommodation comprises six luxury tented suites, each with river views, indoor and outdoor showers, private decks and plunge pools. The main two-storey building of timber and thatch has a relaxing, spacious lounge and a bar on the top floor with comfy sofas and armchairs and more sensational river views. Downstairs is another bar and various dining areas, either under cover or on decking near the campfire. There's also a pool near the main building, where elephants often come to drink.
Guides are very knowledgeable and exceptionally good company, enthusiastically taking guests out on game drives, walking safaris, catch-and-release fishing trips, birding safaris and Zambezi canoe trips.
Lying in the remote Nyamatusi Wilderness Area at the far east of Mana Pools National Park, Nyamatusi Camp is a one-hour bush flight from Harare followed by a 45-minute game drive to camp (depending on wildlife). Alternatively, it’s a six-hour drive from Harare.
