Located within the Chobe Forest Reserve on the edge of a plateau, the incredibly private Ngoma Safari Lodge offers endless views over the seasonal Chobe floodplain.
Although less than an hour from Kasane International Airport, Ngoma Safari Lodge feels wonderfully remote. Set in the Chobe Forest Reserve next to Chobe National Park, it’s made from local materials and designed to blend into the natural environment. Around the central guest area are eight river-facing suites, each a private oasis offering floor-to-ceiling windows that soak up the views, a generous bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower and private plunge pool.
Meals are served in the thatched dining room, alfresco on the wooden deck or in the boma beneath the stars. Activities include game drives in Chobe National Park, thrilling night safaris in the forest reserve and full-day cruises on the Chobe River. If you’d rather stay put, the viewing deck offers excellent opportunities to spot elephant and buffalo without having to leave the lodge.
Ngoma Safari Lodge is located within the Chobe Forest Reserve on a small concession, close to the Ngoma gate entrance to Chobe National Park. It's a 45-minute drive from Kasane Airport and a three-hour drive from Livingstone and Victoria Falls airports.
