A luxurious lodge, tucked away in the remote eastern corner of Botswana where three countries converge.
Located in the eastern extremity of Botswana, the 31,000-hectare Mashatu Game Reserve presents a striking landscape of wide open plains, grassland, riverine forests, rocky hills, marshland and majestic sandstone ridges. The lodge's 14 spacious suites lie along the camp’s perimeter and are designed to ensure absolute privacy. Each air-conditioned suite is tastefully decorated and features impressive black and white prints of Africa’s wildlife, while a private deck offers magnificent views of the surrounding wilderness. Meals are a sumptuous celebration of traditional African cuisine, enjoyed around a blazing fire under the African night sky. When not participating in one of the numerous activities on offer, guests can cool off in the pool or relax in the elevated lounge with views over a busy waterhole. In addition to game drives, activities include cycling, walking, horse riding for advanced riders and and photography sessions with a wildlife filmmaker. The lodge's Discovery Room also offers an enlightening look into the cultural history, research and wildlife of Mashatu.
