A traditional Kenyan home set on the northern shore of Lake Naivasha in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, with stunning views of the dormant Mount Longonot volcano.
Loldia House offers a choice of accommodation, either in the old family house or in cottages within the grounds. The main house has one en-suite room while close by are three guest cottages, each with two en-suite rooms, surrounded by pretty gardens and offering incredible views across the lake to Mount Longonot. Up on the hill is the specially built Top Cottage, which has three double bedrooms and a sitting room with an open log fire, making it ideal for families or friends travelling together. A gorgeous infinity pool is set in an outcrop between two ancient fig trees and offers more stunning views across the lake. Enjoy breakfasts in the garden and sociable dinners around the table in the dining room. Set off on a full day’s game drive, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide and a delicious picnic lunch. Join a boating safari on the lake, or venture out to explore the terrain by foot or on horseback, riding among the herds of plains game that live alongside the animals that are farmed on the ranch.
