Overview

The iconic Giraffe Manor is famous for its resident herd of endangered Rothschild giraffes that wander around the beautiful grounds, sticking their long necks through the windows in the hope of a treat, especially at breakfast. The original manor dates back to the 1930s and is modelled in the style of a Scottish hunting lodge, with a stately facade and elegant interiors. In 2011, the Garden Manor was built, a smaller replica of the original. There are 12 rooms, divided between the Manor House and the Garden Manor, all of which are beautifully designed, with four-poster beds in some, antique furniture, open fireplaces and mahogany desks in others. The Karen Blixen Suite in the Manor House and the Finch Hatton Suite in the Garden Manor are ideal for families.
