An intimate camp ideal for small groups or families in the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, in the south-eastern portion of the Okavango Delta.
Lediba is Setswana for lagoon and the camp certainly lives up to its name with views overlooking a natural waterhole. There are five spacious tented rooms - including two for families - built on raised wooden platforms with outdoor showers and magnificent views over the delta. Raised wooden walkways lead to a thatched communal area and an excellent range of amenities, including a deck with a fire pit, traditional boma, swimming pool, reading area and curio shop. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles, bird watching and nature walks (seasonal). Elephants frequently pass the camp, while out on game drives you may see everything from lions, leopards and African wild dogs to spotted hyenas, cheetahs and red lechwe.
Located in the exclusive 28,000-hectare Chitabe Concession, in the south-east of the Okavango Delta, separated from the well-known Moremi Game Reserve by the Gomoti Channel. Access is via a scheduled flight from Johannesburg or Cape Town to Maun or from Johannesburg to Kasane, followed by a light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta to Chitabe Airstrip and 40-minute game drive from the airstrip to camp.
